WHO WE ARE
The concepts of Solid Homz are to build housing economically. Or update older poor condition homes. Our desire is to provide low-cost shelter for part time working, low income homeless, especially veterans and single moms.
This God given goal is to show compassion by helping struggling people get a new start. We helped over 50 people in our first year. We provided transitional shelter for 15 and jobs for over 40 by the end of 2022. By the end of March 2023, we provided transitional shelter for 7. This is believed to be more practical and longer affecting than giving money to stay in a motel or apartment they can't afford.

I am writing to confirm the need for low income housing in the Valdosta area. I was an employed person in Valdosta who needed an affordable place to live. Cindy and Rannie Dean provided this for me, in the form of a rooming house. This facility provided for many of my needs and helped me get back on my feet. I appreciated that rooming house because it enabled me to get to my next step. Rooming houses are necessary in Valdosta.
